We will be diving into the curriculum right away. You can expect your child to have homework Monday through Thursday. Unless otherwise notified, all homework will be due in class the following morning. It is the student's responsibility to make sure that his/her homework is completed and returned to class.
I look forward to meeting you at Parent Information Night on August 7th. Dear Parents,
Welcome to the third grade. I hope that you are ready to begin the wonderful, final year of primary grades. My name is Terri Stahlheber. This is my twenty-first year of teaching in the Corona-Norco USD. I am looking forward to working with your family, so that we can all have a terrific year.
Your child and I have spent the day getting to know each other, along with the classroom routines and policies. In order to provide your child and all students in my class with the comfortable learning environment they deserve, the following discipline plan will be in effect at all times.
Rules:
1. Follow directions the first time they are given.
2. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
3. No teasing or name calling.
4. Respect yourself, classmates, and the teacher.
5. Turn homework in on time.
If a student chooses to break a rule:
1st time (yellow)-warning
2nd time (orange)- loss of one recess
3rd time (red)- loss of another recess or activity and a note home to be signed
4th time (purple)- parent contact and/or sent to the principal's office
Students who behave appropriately will be positively rewarded with positive notes home, Clicks/Stamps for our monthly Click Table, etc.
