For Parents of Teen Drivers
If you're the parent of a soon-to-be driver or a new driver here are some helpful websites I found.
This driving school is located in Norco, near R.C.C. We were very pleased with their program. We were able to pay a bit more in order for our daughter to complete the classroom part online, which worked for her busy schedule. Otherwise they have a week long course to take.
Parent Teen Driving Contract from Allstate Insurance We sat down together and discussed the statistics given. We set up an agreement and consequence for each catergory (speeding, crashes, passengers, grades, etc.), prior to her hitting the road. She carries a copy in her car and we have a copy, too.
SADD~ Contract for Life for Teens and Parents
Your teen pledges to not drive or ride with an impaired driver. You agree to provide safe transportation home for your child, without getting upset, if a unsafe situation arises.
SADD~ Contract for Life for College Students This is a contract between friends agreeing to look out for their own well-being and helping friends whom they see making destructive decisions.
